We know you can’t wait to get out there and explore the world, and we want to assure you that we’ve been working hard to give you peace of mind when the time comes for you to head off on your next travel adventure.
It’s that time of the year...the time where you’d normally start to see endless articles about the best destinations to discover in 2021. But this year, the world looks very different. So, instead of just wondering where we’ll be travelling next year, take a moment to consider how we’ll travel. The world is changing, and travel trends are too.
Our new Safe Travels Protocols are designed to help you feel safe and stay healthy on your dream trip. Plus, we’ve received the World Travel and Tourism Council’s Safe Travels Stamp, demonstrating we have adopted health and hygiene global standardized protocols. Check them out, so we can travel again!
The safety of our team, customers, guides, vendors and the wider local community remains our main priority and any return to operations will be done in a safe and responsible way. We are only operating tours in destinations where local governments have deemed it safe to resume group activities, and will continue to add new cities as they are approved.
It is mandatory to follow social distancing guidelines from local health authorities at all times. We will adjust itineraries to assist with physical distancing (e.g. picnics over crowded marketplaces or detouring to avoid an unexpected crowd). We visit less-crowded destinations and prioritize the availability of single supplements for travelers who do not wish to share a room.
It is mandatory to follow up-to-date advice from local health authorities in each destination. We will advise customers that they should bring a mask to the tour and our guides to have spare masks to give to customers.
Where appropriate we’re including outdoor eating such as picnics on our itineraries, but when we visit a restaurant our group will always have our own table.
All restaurants / bars / cafes are checked before the tour and require them to follow local regulations on table spacing and guest seating in restaurants; hand sanitizer should be made available upon entry; payment methods should be contactless.
Our Team recommends that you use private transport where possible. All transport will adjust capacity in line with local legislation and must be thoroughly cleaned between guests with all high-touch surfaces in shared areas regularly cleaned and disinfected.
Where using public transport is unavoidable, local guidelines regarding distancing and PPE will be followed, and hand sanitizer will be used before entry and after exit.
We are auditing all hotels/apartments and require them to detail their cleaning and sanitation protocols. All vendors must be consulted, to discuss any operational changes (reduced hours, days, etc.) and their own Health and Safety procedures and physical distancing protocols to protect customers.
We have long-term, trusting relationships with all our partners, who are all committed to adhering to our Safe Travels guidelines.
All staff have been trained, or re-trained, on the following areas before operating a tour:
Our team will be always there to make sure your wellbeing is prioritized – from sourcing hand sanitizer to knowing when are the least crowded times to visit attractions.
We can’t wait to take you on new adventures as soon as possible. Visit our Tours and Adventure sections to check our available destinations for 2021.
See you soon!
